We Fear What We Do Not Understand

With everything going on in our world right now, it is normal to fear the direction we are going. We long for the past. We want things to be different than they are. We want someone else to change what they are being, how they show up in our reality so that we can feel safe.

We fear what we do not understand.

We do not understand because we are looking at things from a low level perspective. It is like being in a forest thick with trees and thinking we will never find our way out. Yet, if we got into a hot air balloon and went up about a couple of hundred feet, we could easily see how to get out of the forest.

Our economy, our environment and our very consciousness is making a shift right now. For those who have not shifted their awareness to a higher level, this can be a very unsettling time.

Many are being laid off from their jobs. I was laid off two years ago and I still know it to be a great blessing. For it is only when I let go of who I "thought" I was that I was able to embrace who I really am.

What that means is that I was working at a job that was unfulfilling to me...just to make money. But I was not able to use any of my gifts...my talents and abilities in this role. So God gave me a little nudge...okay, it felt like a swift kick in the butt...to change. I had been working towards a new career for the three years prior, but could not get myself to leave because I was afraid that I would not be able to make the kind of money in what I loved to do. I had always been taught that:

"I had to work hard for a living."
"I had to do things I didn't like in order to make money."

These are beliefs that I had to let go of in order to really start applying myself to what I wanted to do. I had to learn to have faith that things would work out. I had to learn to have more faith in God than I have in Amazon.com when I order something from them. When I order something online, I know it's going to show up. But when I ask for something from God, I allowed my fears to overwhelm me. I allowed myself to believe that I wasn't safe. I allowed myself to believe that I wouldn't be taken care of.

And so because I continually vibrated fear out into the world, that is exactly what I attracted.

Because the Law of Attraction is like any other law of physics. It is not a subjective law. It works all of the time. As my teacher taught me, "If a non-believer and a holy man both walk off a cliff, they both fall due to the Law of Gravity."

Many people are afraid of what is happening in their lives and I hear them say, "I don't believe in the Law of Attraction."

My response is, "That's okay. But it is working in your life anyway. You can either learn how to use it to heal your life and your world or you can continue to react to your world because you fear what you do not understand."

This law doesn't discriminate between Christians, Muslims, Hindu's, Buddhists or Atheists. It works for everyone.

When you are ready to face your fear, let me know. Eash of us have a part to play. Each of us are part of the solution. There is no one person who is coming to save us all. We must learn to tap into our own spiritual energy to save our world and to heal our lives.

You cannot play your part if you are still lost in the forest though. You cannot see the way out until you rise above it.
